Create a beautiful handcrafted Gem Tree using wire-twisting techniques and colorful gemstone chips. In this 3‑hour class, you’ll learn how to form the trunk, shape the twigs and branches, attach gem‑chip “leaves,” and build a balanced miniature tree. While most students will not finish their tree during class, you will receive full instructions to complete it at home.
Materials Needed:
- Gem Chips (available for purchase at GBM)
- 26 ga Half‑Hard Wire (dead soft also works)
- 18 ga Craft Wire
- Wire cutters
- ‘Pot’ for the tree (instructor will have some available for purchase)

- Your instructor’s fully illustrated 58‑page e‑book, Beaded Trees (covers 11 tree designs using wire, beads, or gem chips). You can then use the basic techniques to create larger and different beaded wire trees.
- Floral tape (enough for one tree)
